Mom, if you thought I got into a lot when I crawled.....

Ashley officially started walking last week. She is still really reluctant, but the more she trys the better she gets. Each time she walks towards me, when she gets close she starts to take quick steps and then dives for me. Sorry the video is sideways, but that's the way I shot it with the camera and couldn't figure out how to change it!!!

I'll fix it Dad.

We officially moved the office for our store to the house so I would be able to help Chris with the bills, payroll, etc. For this reason we needed to get a new desk for the office. Chris had just finished putting it together when we noticed Ashley trying to put screws into the desk just like her daddy did. She is one smart little cookie!

The new Lucky Pirate Denim Bar

So our new store location is finally complete. For those of you who aren't aware of our store situation.....we opened our store when we originally moved to Salt Lake City. The building we moved into was over 100 years old. After we leased for approximately a year, our landlord told us that he was kicking all of the store owners out because he was tearing down the buildings on the whole block and was building new stores. So.....the entire Summer of 2007 Chris and our friends helped build out a new store location. I have attached some recent pictures that Chris has taken. Here is a picture of the outside of our store. We are in the two story rust colored building. Sugarhouse Coffee is in the bottom part and we are leasing the upstairs which has a balcony that overlooks the coffee shop below. We are extremely excited for our new store and hope it is a success. Come visit us if any of you come to visit.

Happy (Late) Halloween

Well I'm only a month late posting Ashley's Halloween pictures. She had a really fun day. At daycare they trick-or-treated to each classroom and had a costume parade. She thought it was funny that people kept coming to our door that night in their costumes.

Ashley's 1st Birthday

Ashley had a blast with her birthday cake! She was a little reluctant at first to grab the cake, but it didn't take her very long to dive in!

Walking the Dogs

Ashley helped her mom and dad walk the dogs to the park. Once we got to the park, she saw all of the ducks and was amazed by them. She would sit there and point at each of them.

Fall is here!

Our family drove the Alpine Loop with our Aunt Miriam and family. It was so cold outside and the leaves were changing colors. You can see the snow on the mountains behind us!

My friend Dave got Ashley this Octupus chair when she was a newborn baby. We have been waiting for her to get big enough to enjoy it.

Nay Nay

Here is our little baby dog Nay Nay. She was trying to pounce on the camera.
Nay Nay recently had her first heat. Lucky got her pregnant and because of her size and age, the vet recommended that we spay Nay Nay which would take the babies as well. It was really hard to make this decision, but we wanted Nay Nay to be safe. Below is a picture of her after she has recovered from the surgery.

Raise Your Goblet of Rock

Ashley loves when Chris plays the guitar and sings to her. She sits on the bed and starts singing with him. She was holding one of the guitar picks and Chris got the funny picture that looks like she is raising her goblet of rock. If you haven't seen School of Rock you won't get the reference!!!!

The store is moving!

Lucky Pirate Denim Bar has officially closed until the new location opens September 1st. We have been busy the last two weeks moving everything from our current store location to the house, until we get the new location finished. Chris is pulling down the original tin ceiling from the early 1900's. We are planning on putting the tin in our house to decorate the kitchen ceiling. Chris wears his cool new outfit to protect him from asbestos.

4th of July

We spent the 4th of July at Miriam and Kimballs house.

Ruth's Diner

Mom, Dad, and Camille came to visit. We took them to a Utah favorite, Ruth's Diner. Here is a picture of us out on the patio.
