Trip to the Library

We took Ashley to the Salt Lake Main Library a few weeks ago and she loved the glass elevators. She could have ridden those all day if we let her. I got in line to check out some books so Chris took her to the roof where they have a little garden and place to read. Chris snapped some pictures of her dancing around and having a ball.

Baldface 2010

Chris had the opportunity to go to Baldface again for the third year in a row. This is normally a once in a lifetime opportunity, but Chris has been fortunate enough to go three times. The trip begins by flying with his friends to Spokane, Washington where they stay the night. The next morning they take a bus a few hours to Nelson, Canada, where they then board a helicopter which will take them to the Baldface Lodge. Chris spent the next few days snowboarding in some of the best conditions on Earth. As you can see, it is absolutely beautiful. He is so grateful for such good friends, and he told me that he had another amazing time amongst great friends.

Dustin Ortiz and Chris riding in the Cat. They had to ride in the Cats to get to the top of the mountain to snowboard down. Baldface doesn't have chairlifts.

Chris trying to kill himself. I'm glad I'm not there to watch him do this.

Doggie Door

Madison found out recently that she could fit through the doggie door. There are some days where she will pick up toys, or anything she can find on the ground and stick them through the doggie door. When I open the door, I find a stack of treasures just outside! She now likes to stick her head out the door and call for the dogs to come inside. This is one morning after breakfast. Chris was heading out the door and saw this little girl sticking her head out. Silly Madison!
