Two Pregnant Sisters

I flew back to Arizona with my parents to visit my sister who was also in Arizona visiting from New Mexico. It was fun to spend a few days with her and her family. I normally only get to see her once a year at Christmas.

Both Lisa and I are having a baby. She is due the beginning of October and will be having a boy. Our babies will only be two months apart so it will be fun to have them close to the same age.

Swim Party

I recently took my youth Sunday School class to Fairmont Aquatic Center for a swim party. It was tons of fun and the kids loved it. This was the first time Ashley had gone into a full size swimming pool. She was having a blast and wanted to play with the other kids. My mother-in-law Jeanette was in town that weekend and was so kind to help me at the swim party. Afterwards the kids came back to our house and Chris barbequed some chicken and burgers. I love these kids so much!

Visit from my Parents

My parents came to town over the fourth of July to move my little sister to Utah. She will be living with us in our basement, which has it's own kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. It's been nice to have a basement that we could rent to friends that has almost everything a full apartment would have.

I realized I hardly took any pictures from my parents visit, and mainly shot everything with the video camera. Here are just a few of the pictures I took. We drove with my parents to Park City and stopped by the Olympic Park where the ski jumps took place in the 2002 Olympics. As you can see in one of the pictures, we tried to fit Ashley's face into one of those cardboard cut outs, but it wasn't fitting in there very well.

Ashley also loves to sing songs. One of her favorite things to sing is Wheels on the Bus. She loved to sing it with Grandma.

We had a great 4th of July. We spent the evening with my Aunt, Uncle, and cousins and then we headed over to watch fireworks. This was the first time we had taken Ashley to see fireworks because in the last two years she was always asleep before they started. She was a little scared from the loud noises, but she held on tight to Dad and loved them.

We are so grateful when family comes into town. We miss them so much so it is nice to spend time with them.
