My parents have a pool so Ashley was able to swim almost every day. She became quite a good swimmer. At first she wouldn't go off the steps in the shallow end, but after a day or two, she would put her floating ring on and head for the deep end with her cousins! Her favorite thing to do was climb out of the pool, head to the side, and jump into an adults arms. She would do this over and over again.

Chris came into town the last two days we were visiting and was able to swim with Ashley and see how much her swimming skills had improved.
I also had a chance to go to lunch with a few friends. My friend Dave, and a few others from my old work, Compass Bank went out to lunch together. I hate this picture of myself since I just look chubby instead of pregnant!
I also had the chance to go to lunch with my friend Leah McFarland. She and I have kept in touch since we became friends in high school.
On July 3rd, during our visit to Arizona, my brother Allen got married! It was a beautiful ceremony and we are so glad to have Rachel in our family now! My brother and his beautiful bride have a combined family with seven kids now! I don't know how they do it!

Nana and Grandpa Brown have a bird and they needed some more bird food while we were visiting them, so they wanted to take my girls to the bird store to show them the exotic birds. At first Ashley was really scared because most of the birds aren't in cages and they were making lots of noise, but she started to get used to them, and finally petted one before we left.
