An Afternoon at the Zoo with Family

My brother Allen and his wife Rachel and four of their children came to Utah for a quick visit. We were able to spend a beautiful Saturday afternoon with them at Utah's Hogle Zoo. The kids had a great time and it was so great to see and spend time with family!

Rylee isn't quite sure what's going on. She hasn't missed a meal though from the looks of her cheeks!
The zoo puts on a bird show as well. Here we are waiting for it to begin. They said not to bring any food into the pavilion area because the birds would get distracted and swoop in and take it from you.

Madison enjoying a CapriSun before the show started.

Ashley trying to see what size Orangutan she would be.
Allen, Rachel, Brinley, Paige, and Easton. Taylor's missing from the picture.
Chris always making silly faces.

I'm not sure what I was about to tell Chris. I think the giraffe's might be one of Ashley's favorite zoo stops.
Another wonderful photography job by Chris.
Can you tell that Ashley hates to have her picture taken? As soon as I told everyone to turn around and smile.........she wanted to run out of the picture as soon as possible!

Mother's Day

I am so grateful for a wonderful mother!!! She has sacrificed so much on my behalf and I will forever be grateful! I am so glad I have a loving mother who has always supported me. I love you mom!

I also have the best mother-in-law and I am willing to fist fight anyone who says theirs is better!! She is not just my mother-in-law but my friend.

LOVE YOU BOTH!!!!!

I also have three beautiful girls that bless my life every day. I'm so blessed to have been entrusted with their care.

Chris bought me a beautiful bouquet and Ashley couldn't stop admiring it and smelling each of the flowers. She tells me the "Rosens" (roses) are her favorite.

Ashley made me a card at church. This is the inside of the card where she colored me a picture.

This was the outside of the card. Her answers put the biggest smile on my face. I love my little girls.

Do you think we are ready for our ward campout?

Thought we would set up our new tent in the front yard to make sure we were ready to go when the time was right! Can't go wrong with a six man tent! Bring on the June ward campout!!
