Temple Lights

I completely forgot to post pictures from the night that Chris and I took Ashley to see the lights on Temple Square. We knew Ashley would enjoy the lights, but we were worried about taking our two younger girls outside in the cold, so we left them with a good friend. From the moment we stepped on Temple Square, we couldn't get the smile off of Ashley's face. She was so excited and kept pointing out the different colored lights.

Sorry all the pictures below are blurry. We forgot our camera and we took all of these on our camera phones.

Right after we arrived, I tried to get Ashley to take a picture with me. She wanted to run around and look at the lights so she wasn't too happy about having to stop to pose for a picture.


She finally warmed up to having her picture taken.....








Even though the Visitors Center was crazy busy, we wanted to take Ashley up to the Christus. She saw other kids getting their picture taken, so she asked if she could get a picture taken with Jesus. It was so cute. She loves learning about the Savior, and always tells us how much Jesus loves her. It's hard to see her in this picture because it was so dark in the room.



After seeing the Christmas lights, we told Ashley we would take her to get any type of treat she wanted. She picked ice cream, so we took her to Maggie Moo's. She decided on strawberry ice cream with real strawberries mixed in and M&M's. She of course had to have the ice cream cone with sprinkles too!
