The Twelve Days of Christmas

My Mom and Dad for the last two years have given us the gift of the Twelve Days of Christmas. They picked a theme and this year it was "Christmas Is...." They sent up twelve different gifts that symbolized different aspects of Christmas; a candy cane, a wreath, etc. A small ornament was sent to decorate a mini tree which Ashley kept in her bedroom. Each night we also received a gift that was an activity to do as a family. We have really cherished this present from my parents and it has been such fun to do each activity as a family. I know it's hard for my parents since three of their five children live out of state, so this was one way for our family to be brought together as each of my siblings families participated in the same activities.
