We had such a wonderful time at our ward campout a few weekends ago (June 25-26). I loaded the remaining camping gear in the van on Friday and headed up to Park City around 3 pm to pick up Chris from work, since it was close to where we would be camping. The campgrounds were owned by the Murray Stake, however they rent them out to other wards to use.
This is the first thing we did after arriving and finding a camping spot. Setting up the tent was fairly easy and the kids couldn't wait to get inside to play.

Ashley's friend Jill came over to hang out while we set up the tent. Madison thought she needed to sit in Rylee's Bumbo since Rylee wasn't using it.

Rylee dressed in her pajamas watching the adults play volleyball.

My friend Mariana and her family camped near us. We both ate dinner before arriving, but decided we wanted to use my dutch oven to try some cobbler. The peach cobbler tasted yummy!

Corinne and Dan Anderegg, another wonderful couple from our ward camped near us as well. They sat around the campfire with us and enjoyed some cobbler.

Our campsite had a zipline and the kids LOVED it! Madison couldn't wait to go and would cry if I went with Ashley instead of her. I thought it would be too scary for her, but she is my little daredevil.

I went a few times with Ashley since the zipline was over a 50 foot ravine. She kept telling me she wanted to do it by herself but the last thing Chris and I wanted was for her to freak out half way across and fall fifty feet. I went down with her one more time and then left her on the seat by herself and Chris pulled the seat back up to the top. She held on really tight on the way back so I figured she would be fine going down by herself. She did great and went all alone the rest of the time we were there.

Here she is going by herself.

We had a great time. I just wish I had gotten more sleep. The girls slept well, I am just a really light sleeper now and couldn't sleep with the noise of the wind and the kids moving around in their sleeping bags. I think I got a total of 45 minutes of sleep.
Other than the lack of sleep, we hope we do this again next year!
