Have you heard of Bakerella? If you haven't, you need to! Check out her website www.bakerella.com
She has so many amazing baking ideas. She makes the cutest cakepops and I have wanted to make them ever since I first saw them. A few weeks ago I saw on her website she was coming to Utah, and that she would be at the mall that is just down the street from me the day after my birthday. How could I pass up this opportunity?!
My friend Alissa wanted to meet her as well, so Chris watched the kids and we headed down to the Trolley Square Williams-Sonoma. I tried to buy her book the night before as Chris and I were out celebrating my birthday, but they were sold out at every Barnes and Noble across the state of Utah.
After we arrived, they brought Bakerella out and she answered questions about her book and cooking techniques.

Then she began to sign books. It was so great to meet her even though I didn't get to say much to her.
As I said earlier, I have wanted to make her cakepops and I finally got around to doing it after meeting her. Since it was Halloween time I wanted to do pumpkin pops.
My first attempt. I definitely need practice!
