Easter

I love Easter time because we get to celebrate our resurrected Savior and his amazing sacrifice for us. This is one of my favorite pictures of the Him.

The girls enjoyed getting dressed up in the Easter dresses that Grandma Brown got for them. You wouldn't be able to tell from the look Ashley is giving to me.

After she didn't smile for the first picture. I asked her to smile and this is what I got.

And then this one.....

Her forced smile! She wanted to run around with her friends before church started.

Rylee wouldn't sit still either.

This is Madison's first picture. She sat still and posed.
At least someone understood that Mom wanted good Easter pictures!

Yet another family picture where not everyone is looking at the camera.

This year the Easter Bunny came after church. He hid the Easter baskets this year and left a note with clues so the girls could find their basket.

Ashley's was in the oven. She has a look of pure excitement!

Madison's clue told her that he hid it where Mom and Dad put their dirty clothes (the hamper).
She started to head down to the washing machine. Smart girl!

Rylee was napping and we didn't think she would understand
where to find her basket so Ashley found it for her.

The girls enjoyed their baskets while Rylee still napped.

Easter Eggs

Enjoyed dying Easter eggs at my friend Megan's house.
Ashley was a pro, but Madison and Rylee kept trying
to pull the eggs out of the dye with their hands.

Needless to say their hands were multi-colored by the time we headed home.

The final product.

We've Been Egged!

A week before Easter, we woke up on a Saturday morning to find this sign taped to our door, and eggs scattered in the yard.

The girls were SO excited!
Rylee started with the easiest eggs that were on the porch.

She started opening each egg she found while her sisters hunted for the other eggs.

The rain coming down, and the snow in the yard didn't deter the girls from their eggs.

When I returned back to the porch where Rylee sat,
I found she was eating the chocolate from the eggs.......foil and all!

A big, huge thank you to whoever thought of our family and did such a kind thing for us.
We are so grateful!
