My LIttle Gymnast

Ashley took another gymnastics class from the Fairmont Center. She took the same class a year ago, and I was amazed at how much she could do this year compared to last. Her good friends Jillian and Matthew took the class with her. They had so much fun together.

Madison wants to be just like her big sister. I took her to the first class and she had the hardest time sitting outside the room watching Ashley through the glass windows. She couldn't understand why she couldn't be in there with her....especially since it looked like a lot of fun.

The teacher is trying to get her to crawl on all fours across the balance beam. She didn't quite understand what she wanted.

She was awesome at walking up the wall.

Gymnastics

I recently signed Ashley up for a gymnastics class at a local recreation center. She attends the class each Wednesday morning with her friend Jillian. This is the first time she has done a class like this and she has had a blast. The teachers set up two different rooms in a type of gymnastics obstacle course. They swing from bars, go across balance beams, donkey kick, try cart wheels, handstands, and a variety of other skills. It is so cute to see her and Jillian in their leotards trying to do each stunt the best they can. The last class was this morning, and I hope now to have her attend a weekly dance class to see if she likes one more than the other.
