Happy Birthday to my beautiful Ashley!

Ashley, the past few years have just flown by and I can't believe my little girl is already four. You are such a great big sister. Madison wants to do everything you do and she just adores you. You can make Rylee laugh faster than anyone. Your smile lights up a room.
You have the longest, prettiest hair and I love that every morning you look forward to me brushing it and pulling it back. You would have me braid your hair every morning if we had the time.
You love to sing and lately you make up songs if you aren't in the mood to sing one you know. Every night I sing to you and you ask for the same two songs. The "birdie song" which is My Heavenly Father Love Me, and the "Temple Song" which is I love to See the Temple. Once I sing those two, I can then choose anything else!
You love to play with your friends, and you ask me every day when someone is going to come over and play. When they do come to play, your favorite thing to do is play dress up.
I am so proud of you and can't wait to see what fun things you learn and do until your next birthday. I love you so much!
Ashley's birthday was Tuesday, October 26th. We started the morning by singing Happy Birthday to her while she opened a present.
After we got ready for the morning, we headed to McDonald's for lunch with Mariana and Jill. On our way home from lunch, we got the Barbie movie from Redbox that Ashley had wanted to see. We went home and watched it while Madison and Rylee took their nap.
After nap time I took Rylee and Madison to Alissa's house so she could watch them while I took Ashley to get her hair done for the Princess Ball we would be attending that night.
My sister Camille is attending Cosmetology School and I was excited that she could do Ashley's hair and be a part of her birthday.

We needed the perfect dress to go with that gorgeous hair! She looked amazing!

This is Maggie. The Princess Ball was in her honor. She is a beautiful four year old little girl with Cerebral Palsy. Her family has learned about special oxygen treatments that could help her develop but these treatments are very costly. All proceeds from the Princess Ball went to these treatments. They made over $2500 by the end of the night.

Mariana and Jill bought our tickets to get into the Ball as a birthday present for Ashley. We were so excited to go with them! They are the greatest!
When we first arrived we went to take our pictures with Princess Amareh. Ashley was so shy and wouldn't answer any of the questions she was asked.
They had a couple from a dance company there to teach the kids how to dance. Here are all five of the kids from our ward lined up across from their parent, ready to dance.

Ashley and Matthew dancing together.

KoDee and Ashley dancing. They were swinging each other around.

Princess Amerah talked with the kids and introduced them to the Prince.

They had a station for face painting, but the line was quite long. The kids were pretty bored while they waited. Matthew and Ashley took turns trying to pick each other up.

Ashley asked if she could get her face painted like a flower princess. The lady doing the painting was amazing.

We finished the night by getting a few more photos of our group and the kids.
