As I look back over the last thirty years, I can't believe how fast time goes by. I know it's so cliche to say that, but it's so true. The past ten years have especially flown by. I remember back when I was 18, thirty years old seemed SO OLD! Now, here I am.
I am really excited for my 30's! Many have said how much more they loved their 30's compared to their 20's. I look forward to it!

I couldn't have asked for a better birthday. It began when I took my girls to our weekly playgroup, and my friends had baked cupcakes for me. I took the girls to McDonald's for lunch and then spent a few hours relaxing while Ashley played at a friends house and the other two slept. After Madison and Rylee woke up, another friend of mine offered to watch them for me so I could run a few errands.
Around dinner time Chris arrived home from work with these beautiful flowers. My sister watched the girls so we could go on a date.

Chris took me to dinner at Trio. I love that place!

After dinner I told him I needed to stop by Barnes and Noble to buy Bakerella's book. I had no idea that he had put a Nook on hold for me and that he was going to stop by there anyway, but hadn't come up with a good excuse yet. As I went looking for her book inside the store, he said he needed to visit with someone at the checkout line. Sneaky guy! He wanted to capture me opening my present.
